Christmas Tree Farms in the Bay Area

It is the end of November and it seems Christmas decorations go up earlier and earlier every year! You probably noticed all over your Insta and FB feed, people are already decorating for the holidays. Diwali kicked off the season of lights and now the holidays are in full swing.

Now time for one of the biggest questions... Are you a fake tree or a real tree person? We know this is a timeless debate! Personally, I'm team real tree over here! There are many great places to get your tree around the bay area but have you visited a tree farm? Make a day trip out of it, pack some hot chocolate, and get out of the house. Below is a list of tree farms for those of you feeling up for an adventure and new traditions!

Patchen Christmas Tree Farms Choose & Cut farms are all about the “experience”. Breathe in some clear, cool mountain air and take home a tree full of that pungent forest aroma. They also have a gift shop for additional décor items and stocking stuffers!

ALWAYS call the farm BEFORE YOU GO – many farms and lots are selling out of trees early – Call to confirm their supply and their hours as they can change due to weather and demand. While tree supplies are looking good this year, expect prices to be WAY up in 2023, not a huge surprise these days. Are we missing your favorite "you cut" farm from our list?
