The Great Dickens Christmas Fair is a one-of-a-kind immersive adventure into Victorian London. Half Moon Bay
The Nights of Lights is Fridays from November 28th through December 19th. Each Friday features a different event beginning with the Christmas Tree Lighting on Friday, November 28th, followed by a parade, ugly sweat party and the movie Elf with a spaghetti feed. The Meritage Resort & Spa is showcasing fun-filled activities this holiday season with its annual “Merry Meritage” now through January 4th. Napa Valley's largest outdoor ice skating rink with igloos available to rent and enchanting winter village complete with a 40-foot tree, daily "snow" and festive entertainment and events.
Ho! Ho! Ho! Santa Claus is coming to town. Every Saturday, and Sunday, he can be found strolling through The Meritage Holiday Village. As the afternoon progresses, Santa settles into his reading room and invites the little ones in to listen to him read a story.

Civic Center – The annual Civic Center Plaza Tree Lighting event returns December 3rd from 4-7pm! Featuring a night of festive entertainment, performances include the Tap Dancing Christmas Trees, the San Francisco Boys Chorus, Magician Joshua Andrews, The Broadway All-Star Band, Boswick the Clown, the Grinch and more! The weather calls for “snow” flurries, and there will be holiday beverages and bites for purchase, including Off the Grid’s Melina’s Kitchen. Also the night wouldn’t be complete without a visit from the VIP-of-the-hour: Santa! Nob Hill – The Fairmont in Nob Hill, is the place to be for the holiday season! Union Square – The Ice Rink in Union Square is now open through January 20th. While there won't be a tree lighting ceremony this year, the holiday tree will be as visible as ever throughout the holiday season. Snap a photo at one of the oversized shelter animal Instagram-able outposts in the Macy's windows. Follow the Ornament Trail from December 6th -24th and view larger than life ornaments created by local artists.
Winter Walk returns to Union Square from December 13 – 24, located on Stockton Street to O’Farrell to Post! This 10-day event will turn two blocks into a pedestrian plaza with lush turf, diverse food truck offerings, enticing bars, and Instagram-worthy arctic-themed décor. Enjoy live performances and entertainment throughout this festive event.
Marking it's 50th year in San Francisco, light the Mnorah and celebrate the first night of Chanukah with music, traditional foods, and a Menorah Lighting with dignitaries. Lighting continues nightly through Chanukah. Click

Bah Humbug! 5k & Fun Run - Presented by the City of San Ramon and Chevron is a great way to start the holiday season off with a healthy fun run or walk through San Ramon on Saturday, December 6th at 8:15am. Participants will receive a holiday long-sleeved shirt and the famous Bah Humbug! Ornament. While the main 5k is a chipped run, the kid’s dash is for children ages 4-9 years old and is not officially timed. The course is approximately 1K and will start and end at the main finish line on Alcosta Boulevard, in front of the San Ramon Community Center. Click
