By now we are all adjusting to life at home and the rules of social distancing are ingrained into our everyday life. Dogs are enjoying more frequent walks and tummy rubs. Parents are working from home with their kids frequently making guest appearances in their Zoom meetings. Kids are adapting to a new form of learning outside of the classroom. There’s no doubt, parents are constantly looking for ways to entertain their kids.
Whether it be from teachers, school districts or our favorite Instagram influencers, we have all seen many resources and ideas to keep kids learning and engaged during this time away from the physical classroom. It is not a secret that one of kids’ favorite days at school are field trip days and who can blame them?! Field trips provide a great break from the traditional curriculum and allow for first hand learning. With everyone doing their part to curb the spread of Coronavirus, the usual spots are now closed to the public. While these places have physically closed their doors, many have realized that the need for children’s virtual learning is at an all-time high, and many have stepped up to offer just that. From zoos to landmarks to museums to story time and many more are now available to visit virtually from the comfort and safety of your home. And since Arrive Real Estate Group loves to look at houses, we had to include virtual tours of a few famous houses too! No matter what your age or area of interest, come aboard the virtual field trip as there is something for everyone AND we hope you’ll learn something new in the process!
